How do I connect an account to a bank feed?

Connect a cash account to a bank feed on the Banking cloud tab of the account record.

BEFORE YOU START

The success of a bank connection depends on the following criteria:

  • The type of bank account you are trying to connect.
For example, some banks offer connections for commercial accounts and not retail accounts.
  • The security methods the bank has in place.
  • The region where the bank is located.
In the European Union, United Kingdom, and Australia open banking is available and it's easier to make a connection.
  • If your bank supports bank feeds and has a connection available.
Contact your bank to determine if you can access a bank feed connection.

Your experience depends upon many factors and we cannot guarantee that each bank connection will succeed.

  7. Enter login credentials, typically your user name and password.

Avoid downloading transactions that you already reconciled in Sage Intacct and check the date of the last reconciliation for the account. 10. Select All done.
You return to the Banking cloud tab.
  11. Verify that the account is correct, then select Confirm.

NEXT STEPS

It can take up to 3 business days for bank transactions to arrive in Sage Intacct after you first connect your account.

When bank transactions arrive into the system, if your account has a rule set, they automatically match against existing Sage Intacct transactions for reconciliation.

If you have other accounts to connect at the same bank and they share the same login credentials, map accounts to a financial institution to more easily manage login information.
